Pond Polo
This Polo Shirt continues themes and motifs first explored in the Loon Blanket. Created using jacquard Knitting, a pond scene from Northern Ontario wraps around the wearer’s body. Jacquard knitting consists of multiple yarn colors the run continuously on the back/ inside of the fabric but come to the surface only in specific places on the face, thus capable of creating highly asymmetric patterns.
The species depicted are: Great Pond Snail, Pond Weed, Muskellunge, Sunfish and Red Eared Slider.
