This textile was inspired by trailcam footage of a lynx roughing up a coyote in Canada. The video is here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qzBpQ9BLzK4. The species depicted in the blanket are as follows: Canadian Lynx (Lynx canadensis), Coyote (Coyote latrans), Northern Saw-whet owl (Aegolius acadicus), Eastern White Pine (Pinus strobus), and White Waterlily (Nymphaea odorata). In the foreground and Coyote and lynx square off on a bed of white pine needles, while a northern saw-whet owl surveys the scene. A large, old white pine stands firm while a pond with white waterlilies shimmers behind it.
Please note that this throw is on sale because it was a sample. There will be a few minor design changes in the final version, thus it is on sale though there is nothing physically wrong with it.
Dimensions are 4×6 feet, with a Rayon Warp and Cotton wefts. Can machine-wash on Cold, Delicate, but hang to dry. Rayon yarn will shrink in dryer, based on personal experience.
