The Four Seasons
The Four Season is a series of stuffed, Jacquard-woven tapestries completed for my Master’s Thesis in Textile Design. The idea behind the thesis was to make sound-dampening jacquard woven tapestries for farm-to-table restaurants. As I was living in Pennsylvania at the time, the four scenes followed the Susquehanna River from its source in Upstate New York for the Spring tapestry, down through Central and Southern PA for Summer and Fall to the Chesapeake bay for Winter.
